South Australia's Mismatch are coming off the back of a successful 2018; they built an impressive brewery in the Adelaide Hills and saw their Lager declared Champion Australian Beer at The Indies. 

If you want to be part of the success, currently they're looking to fill two positions within the brewery.


Job Description: Experienced Cellar Person and Canning Line Manager

Mismatch Brewing Company is a South Australian based craft brewer formed in 2013 which has experienced rapid growth over the past two years. The company has recently commissioned a new 35HL brewery and has opened a cellar door at Lot 100 in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. With the launch of the brewery and with solid growth month after month the company requires important positions to be filled.

Experienced cellar person

We require a gun cellar person to get our products ready for packaging. This is a key role vital to the quality of our beer. This person will work closely with the brewers and canning line manager to maximise the volume of beer produced. If you’re excited by this position then keep on reading.

The right person will have the following attributes:

  • At least 2 years experience in a brewery cellar is vital as you’ll be hitting the ground running 
  • Experience with filtration favourable (including centrifuge)
  • Follow instructions precisely
  • Multitask in a fast paced production brewery environment 
  • Great communication skills
  • Reliable time management
  • Flexibility with changing shifts to meet tight deadlines
  • Problem solve and logical thinker when mechanical problems arise
  • Meticulously clean
  • Follow safe work procedures
  • Brewing experience favourable as your role may cross over as production brewer where required 
  • Work hard but enjoy a beer at the end of a long day

Canning line manager

After a massive first year of aggressive growth we are planning on running double pack shifts on the canning line. This requires a Canning Line Manager to oversee all things packaging related.  

If working in a fast paced environment with a great crew is up your alley then hit us up, cause we’d love to have you!

The Canning Line Manager will look like the following: 

  • Extensive experience working on canning lines
  • Know how to perform quality checks to ensure our products are always in spec
  • Ensure staff are adequately trained 
  • Master everything to do with a Cask canning line - this WILL be your baby
  • Great communication skills
  • Reliable time management
  • Flexibility with changing shifts
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations and meet tight deadlines
  • Solve problems logically when mechanical problems arise
  • Management of dry goods
  • Meticulous CIP'ing of equipment
  • Follow safe work procedures
  • Have a laugh and love a beer at the end of a long day.
