We'll kick off with a few things that are approaching going, going, gone territory. We've launched May's main prize draw now – we've got three mixed cases of beer from Odyssey Craft Brewing to mark the fact they've now got all five of their core beers in bottles. We'll pick the winners at the end of the month.

Prior to that, we've just launched a competition to win one of eight tickets for From Home Brewer to Pro Brewer, an event featuring Bridge Road, Hargreaves Hill, Sailors Grave and Watts River that we're hosting at The Cherry Tree Hotel on the Monday of Good Beer Week. Tickets cost $60pp and we'll be picking the winners on Monday.

Party!

Yes, it's only six days since we last threw a party for Cabal members in Melbourne, but it is that time of year in Melbourne with Good Beer Week and GABS on the horizon. We've secured the upstairs space at Beer DeLuxe Fed Square on GBW Opening Party night for Cabal members.

We'll be pouring:

Venom Black IPA
Hawkers Beer Pilsner
3 Ravens Juicy IPA

and will have the brewers/owners of the businesses along for a chat. Members can bring a mate, there will be some finger food too, and it's all free. There's a cap on numbers at 100 and, last we looked, 80 spots have been booked already so get in quick.

The session runs from 6pm to 8pm so you can then kick on at the party downstairs. If you're coming to Good Beer Week, look out for more offers going live, particularly at the Pint of Origin venues.

For those outside Victoria, we'll be announcing events at Pirate Life and elsewhere in Adelaide for June/July, will be back in Queensland in the next couple of months and will be hooking up with Sydney Beer Week and WA Beer Week too. Plus whatever else comes along in the meantime...
