The Suburban Brew launched in 2017 and have two homes in Adelaide: a taproom in Goodwood and another with a substantial production brewery in Glynde.
Due to managing director Tony Dichiera deciding to step away from the brewery he founded, the business owners are looking for a new shareholder to take his place.

The Suburban Brew: Investment and Leadership Opportunity

The Suburban Brew (TSB) was founded in the suburbs of Adelaide in 2017 by Tony Dichiera (Founder and MD) with the aim of getting people back together and the way to do that is through sharing a beer.
TSB launched its Goodwood taproom in September 2020 and subsequently installed a 20hL brewhouse and opened its second taproom in Glynde in December 2022. TSB has fostered a strong following locally in SA and their beers have gained multiple awards, most notably “Sunday Session Ale” for Most Outstanding Beer in Show at the 2024 Royal Adelaide Beer & Cider awards.
TSB’s two taprooms are well supported by loyal locals, which along with burgeoning wholesale and contract brewing streams, have driven strong year-on-year revenue growth since inception.
Since founding TSB, Tony has been joined by partners Troy Brailsford and Peter Bradley. Troy (Sales and Hospitality Manager) joined TSB in 2019 and moved to a full-time role with the launch of the Goodwood Taproom. Peter (Head Brewer and Operations Director) joined in 2022 primarily to install and lead the production brewery at Glynde.
While the growth of TSB has provided Tony with immense joy and satisfaction over the last 7 years, due to personal circumstances, he has decided to exit the business in 2025, opening an opportunity for a new investor to join the team of Troy and Peter.
"I’m proud to have built TSB to the loved brand it is today with the help of great people and loyal supporters around us,”
"With TSB’s foundations firmly established, I need to take some time to reconnect with my young family and leave TSB to Pete and Troy, along with others, to embark on the next steps and see it continue to grow and achieve its full potential."
Tony currently holds controlling ownership and works in the business full-time. Troy and Peter are shareholders and both wish to remain involved with the business and to continue to grow TSB.
Tony’s departure creates a unique opportunity for the right investor to step into a growing business with a solid foundation and help it accelerate its growth and shape its future. Troy and Peter’s continued involvement will ensure the business can continue to benefit from the wealth of knowledge and skills that have helped grow TSB in recent years.
