'Tis the season for fresh hop beers, and Slipstream will doing its part to celebrate the 2024 hop harvest as they host the Freshies Beer Fest.
Head to the Yeerongpilly brewery on April 20 and you'll be able to indulge in a tasty lineup of fresh hop beers made by breweries up and down the East Coast; invitations have been extended to the likes of Bridge Road, Seeker, Sea Legs, Sunday Road, Hound & Stag, Fox Friday and more, so you'll be in for a treat.
For an extra immersive experience, the hop growers from Hilltop Hops Farm and HPA (Hop Products Australia) will be along to share their extensive expertise in all things hoppy and beery, as will Slipstream's head brewer Gavin Croft.
There'll also be live music throughout the afternoon and the Slipstream kitchen will be pumping out heaps of event specials.
Entry is free and no tickets are required, but table reservations are recommended. Beers will begin pouring at 11:30am and will be on 'til they're gone.
