Tap Takeover at Royal Albert Hotel: Modus Operandi

Since opening the doors to their brewery in Mona Vale back in July, Modus Operandi has, by any measure, been going absolute gangbusters.

Even before they won the CBIA awards for Champion Dark/Amber, IPA, Small Brewery and Australian beer, their diverse and well-made range of beers - and an excellent brewery setup - quickly got locals right behind the fledgling business.

Which is all very well if you live live in the Northern Beaches. But for those south of the bridge, Mona Vale can seem just a little too far to just pop ‘round for a beer.

All the more reason, then, to mark November 6th in your diary as that’s when the Royal Albert Hotel hosts the first ever Modus Operandi Tap Takeover outside of their own brewery. There’ll be 11 beers pouring, with two only having been released in the previous weeks.

Here’s how they line up…

  • Kite Flyer Cream Ale
  • MOFOS Saison
  • Pepper in the Rye Saison
  • M.O.na Pale APA
  • Zoo Feeder IPA
  • Former Tenant Red IPA
  • Silent Knight Robust Porter
  • 330 Black Coffee Lager
  • Lola Summer Ale
  • Whiskey barrel-aged black beer (unnamed and previously unreleased)
  • SCBW beer
