After playing around with the recipe for a few weeks and trialling the beer at their Yarra Glen restaurant, Hargreaves Hill is sending its new Golden Ale out into the world via a series of launch events.
Melbourne had its turn first up and now it's Sydney chance for a taste. You can get yours at The Australian Hotel in The Rocks on Thursday October 8 where they'll be pouring it alongside some of their much-loved pizzas.
The beer itself is one that takes its lead from German Kolsch beers rather than the fruitier, hoppier style that many local golden ales opt for (you can read more here).
Things kick off around 6:30pm.
