Job Description: Venue Manager
Tallboy & Moose is on the hunt for an experienced Venue Manager to take on the day-to-day operations of the brewpub as well as contribute ideas to assist and maintain the growth of the business.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about outstanding customer service and hospitality
- Loves beer
- Is self-driven and has a strong sense of initiative
- Has excellent people management and communication skills
- Has excellent organisational skills
- Extensive experience in a similar managerial role
- Experience with Lightspeed (Kounta), NowBookIt, Deputy and the Google Suite a bonus
In your role you will be:
- Leading and motivating staff to uphold the culture and values of Tallboy & Moose and foster a positive and inclusive work environment
- Leading the venue team by example and providing them with the training and resources they require to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the venue
- Working with the head chef and front of house to ensure consistently delicious and pretty food is reaching our guests in a timely manner
- Working with the brew team on beer ideas and stock management
- Assisting in the planning and execution of events and functions, working alongside our events and functions manager
- Ensuring a fun and relaxed atmosphere is maintained in the venue at all times
- Responsible for end of week reporting and cash reconciliation
- Rostering and managing labour vs revenue
- Ensuring safety standards and procedures are followed and the venue, staff and guests are compliant with its liquor licence at all times
- Striving to meet all agreed upon KPIs with the Owner/Director
