The family-owned Pikes is currently expanding its Clare Valley brewery to include a cellar door and restaurant.
As a result, the Pikes team is expecting they'll need a lot more beer, so they're hiring a new brewer to join them.
JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER
Pikes Beer Company is a 100 percent family-owned, purpose-built craft brewery operation based at Pikes Wines' 'Polish Hill River Estate' in the Clare Valley.
Pikes has commenced the next exciting phase of its growth: a brand new integrated cellar door,
restaurant and private cellar venue, opening mid-2018. Because of the expected business growth, we have an immediate vacancy for a full-time brewer.
If you are an experienced and passionate brewer, we have an exceptional opportunity for you to become an integral part of our small brewery team with the potential to build a long-term career with Pikes in the beautiful Clare Valley.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a previous track record in the following key
competencies:
- At least two years, high-quality, hands-on, small batch brewing experience
- Uncompromising commitment to quality control and continuous improvement
- Sound understanding of brewery equipment and maintenance
- Team focused with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Formal training or a brewing qualification is desirable
