JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES REP - MELBOURNE

Mornington Peninsula Brewery is recognised as one of Australia’s top independent breweries and we are after an energetic Sales Representative to join our sales team and help drive our sales portfolio.
Located in Mornington this role will lead the sales team in identifying and acquiring new business development opportunities as well maintaining existing relationships. Your main area of focus will be Melbourne and its South Eastern suburbs.
The successful candidate must have proven experience in sales management and dealing with major wholesalers. Knowledge and background within the beer industry is desirable.
Main Duties:
- Promotes, sells and secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Reporting
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organisation.
- Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
- Participates in trade shows, events and festivals.
The successful applicant must have:
- Experience in the beer industry or sales
- Passion for beer, especially independent craft beer
- Drive to succeed
- A customer focused mentality
- A current Victorian drivers licence
