Daylesford has long been one of Victoria's most loved tourist towns, with quality restaurants, niche shops and countless bed and breakfasts driving the local economy.
Looking to make beer part of that economy too is the Daylesford Brewing Company and, though it's currently a gypsy brewing operation, a brewery is planned for the middle of town. Before that, the brewing operation is hiring a sales rep to help get Daylesford beers into Melbourne.

The Daylesford Brewing Company is expanding and we are looking for a sales professional to support our expansion into Melbourne and surrounds.
The Daylesford Brewing Company has been ‘Putting the ale back into Daylesford’ since 2015 focusing on the strong and ever growing tourism market in our region. To date Melbourne visitors have been coming to us and it’s now time to bring Daylesford Brewing Co beers to them.
Job Description
We are seeking a sales professional based in Melbourne with a passion for craft beer, people and regional produce to be our person on the ground covering the Melbourne region.
Key duties
- Implement our sales and marketing strategy;
- Assist to coordinate and deliver in-house events;
- Represent our brand and what we stand for;
- Develop new long term customer relationships;
- Maintain and grow existing accounts; and
- Increase our brand awareness throughout Melbourne;
This is a customer-focused role and the successful applicant will posses the following:
- Passion for craft beer and local produce;
- Strong knowledge of craft beer with the eagerness to immerse themselves in the industry;
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality;
- Good sales and relationship skills;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Highly self motivated;
- Ability to work autonomously;
- Flexibility and initiative with regards to the role;
- Experience and relationships within the hospitality or craft beer industry (desired but not required);
- Australian Drivers License;
- Access to your own vehicle;
Remuneration
This is initially a casual, commission based role with the potential for development into a permanent part time or full time sales position with additional roles and responsibilities.
