Based just outside the CBD, Melbourne Moonshine have been crafting a wide range of spirits since 2015. With expansion underway, the distillery is looking to hire both a distiller and a distiller's assistant.

Job Description: Distiller & Distiller’s Assistant
Melbourne Moonshine is a craft distillery located in South Melbourne. We’ve been making moonshine, whiskey and gin ‘legally’ since 2015. Our team is small, dedicated, passionate and hardworking and we have big plans for the future. Due to expansion, we are on the hunt for a new Distiller and Distiller’s Assistant.
As we are upgrading our facilities, successful applicants will be willing and able to work across a varied range of tasks and projects including production and supporting the upgrade works.
DISTILLER:
Ideally, we are looking for individuals with solid distilling, winemaking or brewing experience for this role; we will also consider applicants with food manufacturing experience if relevant. Spirit industry knowledge and firm understanding of industry practices and standards are required.
DISTILLER’S ASSISTANT:
Again, we are looking for relevant industry experience, however we are open to applicants that are keen to learn or have limited training. It is important that applicants for this role have a good level of general mechanical aptitude and can assist with maintenance, up keep and a variety of tasks whilst learning the craft.
Both positions are full-time with a rotating shift roster. Wages are award rates or higher.
