Last year, the owner of the Steam Packet Inn in Williamstown decided to mark 150 years of his pub and the suburb's brewing heritage with a beer festival.
And in November the Willy Beer Fest returns.
Festival founder Scott has lined up more live entertainment, more top Aussie breweries (plus a smattering of internationals, cider and wine) and tasty food too.
Last year's event has had a lasting impact with the Steam Packet's beer offering significantly craftier than it was 12 months ago and the surprisingly resilient Williamstown drinkers steadily taking to the good stuff.
