One of the more popular annual beer releases in Australia is upon us for 2015 in the form of Stone & Wood's Stone Beer. And they're launching the beer the only way they know how - with a community celebration.
There'll be some great food - meaty fare from JR Smokehouse and local-focused (including vegetarian) produce from 100 Mile Table - and the entertainment will move from the folksy slide guitar of Pat Tierney to the psychedelic sounds of The Babe Rainbow.
On top of that, there'll be screen printing workshops throughout the day where you'll be able to print your own S&W branded merch.
And, of course, there's a reasonably good chance you'll be able to indulge in a beer or two...
It's happening at the (old) brewery on Boronia Place on Saturday 9 May between 4pm and 10pm. Entry is via a gold coin donation, the proceeds of which will to the Ingrained Community Program.
For every dollar donated, you'll get entry to a raffle to win a whole bunch of local prize packs, so might as well bring the whole family along and improve your chances...
