It's a sure sign that the Aussie beer scene is being taken seriously as more and more of the world's most respected brewers send their beer Down Under. The latest to join the fray are Northern Californian gypsy brewers Almanac Beer Co.
Their small batch 'farm-to-table' beers heavily favour the use of local fruits and vegetables, alongside barrel ageing, to produce an incredibly eclectic range which has garnered a big reputation with beer lovers stateside.
Their tap launch in Australia is (customs willing) set for Saturday 6th February from 12pm and will be co-hosted by The Alehouse Project and The Local Taphouse in St Kilda.
Sydney gets its turn a week later, on February 13, at The Local Taphouse Darlinghurst.

- Hoppy Sour: Mandarina Mandarina Hopped Brettanomyces Fermented Farmhouse Ale
- Horchata Almond Milk Stout Cinnamon & Vanilla Spiced Milk Stout
- Pumpkin Sour Bourbon and Wine Barrel Aged Pumpkin Ale
- Saison de Brettaville Brettanomyces Ales aged in White Wine Barrels
- Barbary Coast Imperial Stout w/ Cacao Nibs, Chilli Pepper, Oak & Sea Salt
