In 2015, three venues with a passion for good beer came together to launch Brewoomba, a one-day craft beer festival in Toowoomba.
Each put on a celebration of beer while buses ran all day, taking attendees between the venues so they could enjoy all that was on offer. It proved such a success they're back for more in 2016.
On August 6, The Spotted Cow, Mort Estate Hotel and Tapestry Bar will welcome guests once again for a day of craft beer, chances to meet the brewers, food stalls, live music, movies, ping pong, a bagel brunch event and more.
And, as in 2015, former Toowoomba beer sommelier turned Fortitude Brewing head brewer Ian Watson has created a one-off festival beer for the event.
Beers on offer come from breweries including:
- Balter Brewers
- Fixation Brewing Co
- Stone & Wood
- Beard & Brau
- Fortitude / Noisy Minor
- Newstead Brewing
- Croft Brewing
- 4 Pines
- Heretic (USA)
- Stone Brewing (USA)
- Evil Twin (USA)
- Sierra Nevada (USA)
- Rogue Ales (USA)
- Founders (USA)
- Garage Project (NZ)
- Saison Dupont (Belgium)
Tickets cost $40 plus booking fee, for which you get:
