Having just sent off our latest feature to James Halliday’s Wine Companion Magazine – this one looking at the rise of communal / community (whatever we’re going to call it) brewing in Australia, we figured it was time to plunder an old article from the vaults.
This time around, it’s a feature we wrote last year looking at what we believe is the third wave of craft brewers in Australia. In it, you’ll find input from:
- Josh Uljans from Moon Dog (above), who we credit with kickstarting the third wave
- Doug Bremner from 7 Cent Brewery, back when they had brewed little more than a couple of batches of beer
- Glenn Wignall from The Grifter Brewing Co, who had not long taken up residence at Young Henrys and were beginning to carve out their fine reputation
You can open the article here:
The current edition of the magazine contains a Crafty feature on big beers.
Don’t forget (if you knew already) that the publishers of the magazine, Hardie Grant, are publishing our first book, 150 Great Australian Beers: Your Guide to Craft Beer and Beyond. It will be on shelves at the start of August.
