The Crafty Planner: November 26 to December 2

And breathe… The crazy run of beer weeks and festivals drew to a close at the weekend with the final days of Newcastle Craft Beer Week and the Tasmanian International Beer Fest. Now it’s time to look forward to Christmas and summertime beers instead.

That said, if you’re a venue or brewery, you can’t relax completely this week. On Friday, registrations for next year’s Good Beer Week close so if you want to be part of it, now’s the time for the talk to stop! Head here if you still need to register.

Monday
* Barley’s Angels Australia invites the Tongmaster, Pete Mitcham, into the house at The Local Taphouse St Kilda for Girls On The Grill

Tuesday
* It’s time for the launch of the already stupendously successful Cavalier Courage beer, brewed to raise funds and awareness of Motor Neuron Disease in Australia. Head to Virginia Plain in Melbourne’s CBD to be a part of it

Wednesday
* The collab beer from The Wheaty and Lobethal Bierhaus is launched in Adelaide
* It’s an American themed night as Roxy Presents… at the Junction Beer Hall
* Join the team at Temple for a guided tasting tour of their range of beers
* Things are turning Japanese for the latest Whisky at Wilfred’s night at The Local Taphouse St Kilda

Friday
* Mo Bros and Sistas gather at Penny Blue for the Movembeer closing party, featuring new beer and prizes
* It’s beer and chocolate pairing featuring great beers from Oregon at the Mamor Chocolates and High Tea Salon in Collingwood
* Meanwhile, at Nillumbik Cellars they’re pairing beer and cheese at their Beer Club
* Join the Bendigo Beer boys as they “stick it to the man” at The Dispensary Enoteca
* The team at 4 Pines in Manly celebrate St Andrew’s Day with a whopping Wee Heavy and prizes for silliness.
