The Local Taphouse is celebrating the best of Belgium as 2018 draws to a close, showcasing some of the country's beers across its taps and creating a Belgian-inspired menu.
Food wise, expect the likes of potato and sauerkraut fritters, moules-frites and ale-braised beef brisket served with pickled red cabbage.
As for the beers, among those pouring on the day are:
- De Halve Maan - Straffe Hendrik
- Boon Traditionale
- Rodenbach Grand Cru
- Chimay Blue
- Pauwel Kwak
- Tripel Karmeliet
- De Ranke Saison De Dottignies
For those hoping to learn a little more, the Taphouse will be hosting Xavier Vanneste, head brewer at De Halve Maan for a masterclass from 3pm.
Tickets to the masterclass are $10pp and can be booked by heading here.
