A special beer deserves a special launch, and that's exactly what's happening at Wolf of the Willows as they celebrate the arrival of the third edition of Persistence, their annual barrel-aged imperial stout.
Part brewery tour, part vintage beer tasting, part whiskey masterclass, you'll get to join the teams from WotW and their collaborators from The Gospel – Australia’s only dedicated rye whiskey distiller – to delve deep into what's gone into making this year's version of the past AIBA gold medal winning beer.
On that, Persistence III has been brewed with loads of rye malt then aged in The Gospel's rye whiskey solera barrels; if you're into robust beers with flavours like molasses, dark chocolate, cherry, liquorice and espresso, this'll be one to wrap your lips around.
Your ticket gets you a guided brewery tour, a taste of Persistence I, II & III (aka vintages 2020, 2021 & 2022), plus tastings of The Gospel Straight Rye and Solera Rye whiskeys.
There'll also be a curated boilermaker menu, plus The Gospel’s pop-up cellar door will be in all weekend showcasing some of the finest drops.
