You can always count on Sailors Grave to make winter a little more interesting, and so it is as they get set to release their their newest beer.
On July 7 at the Brunswick East boozer Ramblin' Man you'll be able to get the first taste of Shadow Self, a chocolate stout brewed using single origin cacao husk tea.
That unique ingredient is a byproduct of Samoan cocoa beans, which is notable in this beer as, to get it, Sailors Grave has teamed up with Living Koko, a social enterprise that works with and helps empower women in business in the Pacific islands to build ethical trade practices and sustainable farming.
All of which suggests this is a beer that'll taste good and make you feel good, inside and out.
Head along for a free taste from 5pm.
