The GABS Can Design Awards are back for a fourth time, with breweries across Australia invited to submit their favourite tinnies to see if they can follow in the footsteps of Little Bang's Face Inverter, Stomping Ground's Nectaron of the Gods, and Cavalier's Bloody Maria Imperial Gose Michelada.
To be eligible for consideration, cans must have been released after October 2, 2022. All entries will be displayed in an online art gallery from which voters can select their favourite three designs. The top ten designs will then adjudicated by a panel of industry experts.
It's free to enter with the winning designer receiving $1,000 in cash and the brewery getting their hands on Orora golden can trophy, a set of Orora printing plates and one tonne of malt from Bintani. An additional $5,000 worth of prizes from Opal Specialty Packaging is shared among the finalists.
