More often than not when you go to a beer and food matching event, the final beer of the evening is paired with a cheese. Why? Because the two are simply awesome together.
That being the case, shouldn't we just cut out the main courses and just do round after round of beer and cheese courses? Well, we probably should and the Flat Rock Brew Cafe does.
On November 26th, they'll be hosting one of their always-popular Beer and Cheese matching evenings which sees Bar Manager and Beer Lover Ollie Neilson choose six beers to pair with cheeses from Al Pearson's The Cheese Authority. The beer could be anything from the venue's own increasingly diverse creations or their comprehensive global bottled list, while the cheese chosen will be sourced direct from artisan producers from around the world.
The evening is meant to be fun, full of facts and will invariably offer up some very unique taste experiences.
