Taking inspiration from a trip to San Francisco and a chance encounter with the 'Breast Fest' - an annual festival raising money for a local medical clinic helping low-income women with cancer treatment - Tooborac Hotel and Brewery owner James Carlin decided it was something that could be done back home.
And so we have the 'Tooby Booby', an event that will raise money for the Cancer Council's Pink Ribbon campaign which helps with awareness, research and prevention of women's cancers.
As a start, it will feature the venue's own range of beers alongside an Aussie BBQ.
And there will be plenty of entertainment too with the day being headlined by James Blundell and accompanied by Steel Crazy.
The live festivities will be broadcast live and local via Seymour FM which will take the event out to the wider community.
Entry to the event will be by donation, all of which will go to the Pink Ribbon campaign.
