One of Sydney's iconic beer venues is set to celebrate its sixth birthday this month.
Darlinghurst's Local Taphouse has won bucket loads of 'best pub' awards, poured hundreds - nay, thousands - of different beers and been at the forefront of the city's recent headlong plunge into better beer.
On Friday 27th February they're having a party at which they'll tap a special beer brewed in collaboration with Nomad Brewing - a coconut wheat ale called Poco Coco Loco.
To encourage a certain tropical island vibe, they're giving out free Poco Coco Loco to those wearing Hawaiian shirts and coconut bras. For the less festively dressed, there'll be food and drink specials all night along with funkdafied DJs.
The party starts at 6pm.
