As part of its Pint of Origin USA offering at this year's Good Beer Week, the Great Northern Hotel travelled to the States to arrange for the first ever container of Lagunitas beer to be sent to Australia.
And, as often happens with such things, thanks to issues with shipping the container only landed in Melbourne while the week was in full swing. So, while they were still able to throw their Lagunitas party to close out the week and made good inroads into their kegs, there was still plenty to go around afterwards.
So, from June 1 until they're gone, nine of the hugely admired brewery's beers are pouring at the pub.
The beers include:
- Hop Stoopid
- IPA
- Equinox
- Pils
- Pale
- Cappuccino Stout
- Old GnarlyWine
