Turning 18 is one of those significant milestones in life which brings everyone together to pause and celebrate your journey from adolescence into something approaching adulthood. For Mountain Goat, turning 18 certainly coincided with a very grown-up announcement, but that's no reason to halt the party.
On October 14 and 15 in Sydney, there'll be two goat-themed 18th birthday celebratory beer and food matching dinners. Both will feature the newly-released pale ale, two Rare Breeds – the coffee porter and The Naz Scotch ale – and some of the regulars.
The first event, on Wednesday October 14, is at The Public in Cammeray and will feature six courses paired with six beers. Tickets are $65 and can be booked by emailing bookings@thepubliccammeray.com.au.
The following night, Thursday October 15, in the wine bar at 3 Weeds in Rozelle is a five beer and canape-style menu. Tickets are $55 and can be booked by phoning 02 9818 2788.
Both events start at 7pm.
