As part of a mini-tour of Australia with Stone & Wood and Hop Products Australia, acclaimed British beer writer Pete Brown will be popping up at a few venues around the country to share a few tales and ales.
Following a stop in Melbourne at The Rainbow Hotel for a music and beer matching evening, he’ll be hot-footing it to Hobart for the impending hop harvest and to get stuck into some research for a forthcoming book. While there, he’s locked in an evening at Preachers bar for a casual Q&A with interested locals about the ingredients of beer, a bit of malt tasting, hop smelling, chit chatting and no doubt enjoying a bit of love for the local produce.
It’s happening on Saturday March 12 and is a free event. However, spaces are limited so you’ll need to make a reservation by calling the venue on (03) 6223 3621.
