Job Description: Senior Brand Manager
4 Pines was born over a decade ago from a casual conversation between a father and son, post surf, who simply wanted an exceptional beer and options were limited. Fast forward to today and our footprint has grown exponentially since our little Manly Brewpub. We're on a lifelong journey with family, friends and community to forever challenge what the world imagines business to be.
We pride ourselves on our hand-crafted award-winning beer, producing and delivering our-well established core range as well as +90 unique styles of beer per year, and an exploding customer experience platform across the nation approaching 20 sites.
But where do you come in? WELL.. We're looking for someone who is keen to play a major role in the development of our brand in the marketplace... Someone who is proactive and has the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling knives, dancing squirrels and fast-tracked projects all at the one time. As an ideal candidate you'll encompass all the 4 Pines brand values, have a passion for everything craft beer, the occasional wizardry and ideally have experience in the drinks industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Project & Budget Management
- Delivery of budgeted commitments
- Implement clear structure to deliver projects on time and to budget
- Brand Planning
- Deliver outputs of brand planning with a focus around innovation, ATL communication and BTL strategy across On & Off Premise
- People Management
- 2 direct reports
- Stakeholder Management
- Working relationships across multiple business units
- Walk the talk with cross-functional senior management within a global organisation
- Working with Agencies & External Suppliers
- Providing clear briefs, objectives and KPIs for major initiatives and the production and implementation of campaigns/media buying
- Sourcing suppliers with epic alignment
- Commercial Acumen
- Understand and align brand initiatives with commercial and business goals
- Relationship of consumer behaviour and commercial outcomes
- Development of go to market plans for innovation
WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED?
- Related formal qualification and 3-5 years relevant experience as a high achieving brand manager seeking an exit from the BS of marketing in a stifling global business
- Creative problem solver and innovative thinker – embracing new solutions to classic problems
- Cultural affinity with the younger/social demographic
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced and evolving business while meeting deadlines under pressure and managing multiple projects and requests
- Detail orientated, confident and self-motivated and team player
- Previous experience in liquor favourable and/or parallel category is highly advantageous
