Since rebranding in 2020, Akasha have settled into a steady rhythm of limited releases under the Projects banner alongside their popular core lineup.

They're looking to hire a rep for the Newcastle and Central Coast region, starting in early 2022.


JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES REP

Fresh out of Five Dock, Sydney, Akasha delivers what hop-lovers everywhere have longed for – flavourful, crisp and refreshing beers that will make a believer out of anyone.

Our expanding brewery is looking to appoint another NSW sales representative to help grow and nurture our brand in our home state focusing on the Central Coast, Newcastle and northern NSW. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for high-quality independent beer, a solid knowledge base and a willingness to learn. 

We are looking for someone who has a knack for completing tasks quickly and efficiently to achieve individual and company goals to the highest possible standard. While previous sales experience is not essential it could be beneficial for the ideal candidate. This role will report directly to the National Sales Manager. 

The key functions of this role include:

  • Building and growing relationships with on and off-premise trade
  • Hitting your target and distribution goals
  • Hosting promotional activities and participating in events (Including Weekly Tastings)
  • Gathering market intelligence to present to management
  • Help grow the Akasha Brand

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • A love of great high-quality beer
  • A drive to be the best and at the top of your field
  • A willing learner and a team player
  • A sound knowledge of the Liquor Industry
  • Well developed communication skills
  • Current Australian drivers licence
  • New South Wales RSA
