Malt Shovel is the original home of the James Squires beers and is responsible for many of Lion's craft beer brands, including their Malt Shovel Brewers range. 

If you'd like to join them, they're seeking out a brewer on a permanent basis.


Job Description: Brewer

At Malt Shovel Brewery, we are empowered to deliver high-quality products to our customers, safely and on time. 

We currently have an opportunity for a Brewer to join our Malt Shovel Brewery, supporting the production of Australia’s loved craft brands.  

As a Brewer you will gain exposure and contribute to all areas of the Brewing, Cellar and Packaging departments and process. This is a rare opportunity for a talented and committed individual to bring experience to the site, as well learn from the well-established team who seek to be the best they can be, day in and day out.

Key to your success will be:

  • Passion for beer and customer focused
  • Brewing experience preferred
  • Proven ability to work constructively in the team environment
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills
  • Shift patterns will involve a rotation of morning and afternoon shifts.
