Job Description: Key Account Manager - Victoria

Established in 2004, Colonial Brewing Co is a fast growing Australian owned independent craft brewery.  Born in Margaret River, CBCo expanded to an east coast home Port Melbourne in 2016.  With an increasing product range and an evolving beer program CBCo has grown to a National brand both on and off premise .

Reporting to the Head of Sales and working with the National Sales team, CBCo is looking for a Key Account Manager to take the brand on its next journey with new and established customers.

Position

CBCo is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strategic commercial mindset and leadership amongst peers. This newly created position works across, national and local key accounts, partnerships and internal sales network. This position will play a critical role in growth and success of the business working with key customers to increase activity, engagement and sales.

In this role, you will: 

  • Manage promotional planning, pricing and activity from Head office and driving to store-level execution through the CBCo sales team
  • Build Strategic sales and marketing plan within Key Accounts, both nationally and locally in line with CBCo marketing plans
  • Work with Head of Sales and Marketing team on the sell-in and execution of new products, beer launches and POS requirements
  • Identify, negotiate and manage all NEW Key Account opportunities
  • Develop and manage annual budget in line with sales growth and National P&L
  • Have a deep understanding of CBCo consumer segments, beer landscape and key insights in the beer landscape
  • Work with the sales team on tactics and consumer engagement in store
  • Report quarterly results to the Head of Sales

Requirements

  • Key accounts managed include ALM wholesalers Nationally, Ritchies IGA, Thirsty Camel, ILG NSW and QLD, Star Liquor QLD, LMG State Offices and Paramount
  • 2.5+ years’ experience in FMCG sales 
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Travel essential
