Job Description: Seasonal Machine Operators

We are seeking multiple packaging machine operators to join our crew and help us make some delicious beers!
As we ramp up our production over the warmer months of the year Moon Dog Brewing is keen to find people who have a drive to produce excellent beers and seltzers. Experience is favourable but training will be provided for the right candidate. Moon Dog highly values diversity so all should feel welcome to apply.
This is a seasonal fixed-term position (late August to March) with 5-6 days of working availability a week reporting directly to the Packaging Team Leader/Packaging Manager.
You will be involved in all day-to-day duties, performing all elements of duties across the packaging hall from machinery operation, kegging, repackaging, cleaning and various other tasks. We are looking for people with packaging or process operations experience to be a part of the team as we continue to grow, and to take packaging responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Operation of the packaging equipment & machines
- Safe work practices
- General packaging responsibilities, equipment cleaning & hygiene
- QC/QA checks
What you will have:
- Experience in manufacturing or relevant industry (preferred by not required)
- Familiar with manufacturing cleaning, hygiene, and food safety requirements
- Forklift license is favourable
- Ability to work shift work (Day/afternoon and occasional night shifts)
- Desire to be part of an awesome production team making top notch beers and seltzers
- Positive attitude
Remuneration/Hourly rate will be based off previous experience and shift loading is on offer. This is also a great opportunity with future potential for anyone who is looking to get their foot in the door in the brewing industry.
