Job Description: Production Brewer

We are offering the opportunity to join our brewing team as a Production Brewer on a full-time basis. Mismatch Brewing Company is an award-winning brewery with a reputation for consistently producing beer to a very high standard. Our production team operates a well-maintained brewhouse, cellar and packaging line with a focus on quality, safety and continuous process improvement. 

This role is great for someone eager to start in the industry, or someone with experience who is looking for a change and would like to work in a brewery where high standards and beer quality are a focus. As a Production Brewer, you will be responsible for all tasks related to the production of beer including raw material handling, wort production, cellar tasks such as tank/line/equipment cleaning, filtration, packaging and general cleaning tasks. The Production Brewer is also responsible for adhering to safe operating procedures and monitoring product quality, escalating any safety or quality issues to the Head Brewer, and maintaining a high standard of work.

Beneficial Qualifications/Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, engineering and/or related brewing education (e.g. IBD General Certificate or higher)
  • Experience on a brewhouse or packaging equipment of any size
  • Experience in a lab environment
