As one of the biggest breweries in Australia, one that's constantly growing too, Stone & Wood is always improving and expanding its brewery. They're now looking to hire an Asset Engineer to help support this growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION: ASSET ENGINEER

We are committed to brewing a sustainable business that the good people of the Northern Rivers can be proud of, and to support this we are on the hunt for an Asset Engineer to support the growth of our Murwillumbah brewery.

After humble beginnings in 2008, our range of beers, led by our flagship original Pacific Ale, have gained the attention of drinkers from one end of the country to the other. 

This role is responsible for the implementation, running and continual improvement of the Preventative Maintenance program as well as small capital works project management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implementing our Preventative Maintenance program across multiple sites
  • Running and constantly evolving the Preventative Maintenance program
  • Ordering and managing critical spare parts 
  • Ordering material from suppliers
  • Adding Preventative Maintenance tasks to new capital assets installed
  • Planning in Preventative Maintenance tasks with production planning team
  • Project management on small capital jobs
  • Liaising with contractors 
  • Plant optimisation
  • Show exceptional OH&S practices 

We’re on the hunt for someone who has:

  • An Engineering Degree
  • Experience or knowledge in plant preventative maintenance (preferably SAP)
  • Ability to scope and execute capital projects
  • SCADA and Data trending experience
  • Experience working in an Industrial environment
  • Computer literacy and learning agility
  • Has proven experience working within a team
  • Shows a disciplined focus on safety
  • Understands and fits the Stone & Wood culture
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment

This is a full time role, covering five days a week based at our brewery in Murwillumbah.
