JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWLIFE HR MANAGER

Stone & Wood are looking for an outstanding HR business leader to join their team in the role as Brewlife Manager. Brewlife is the platform that focuses on building and delivering the programs and technical support for our Brewlife mission ‘To brew a good life for all our people’.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide HR leadership to a growing independent Australian business. The successful candidate will be a trusted people leader adept at change management and passionate about company culture and team development.

This well rounded HR leader will build strong internal partnerships across the breadth of the business, supporting the overall strategy through the development and implementation of key people and organisational initiatives. Inspired by the prospect of working with a company that values all of its stakeholders, we’re after someone service oriented, who can drive the development and growth of our team while supporting and celebrating the entrepreneurial, community minded roots of the business.  

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Manage the Brewlife agenda for Stone & Wood and its related entities through the execution of efficient and effective HR solutions, tailored to our unique company culture. 
  • Have a strong understanding of Australian Employment Law, to provide leadership and guidance on the development of current policies and all Employee Relations concerns. 
  • Support and partner business leaders and the broader team on development and performance planning, including foundational, leadership and technical skills as defined by Stone & Wood.
  • Provide strategic leadership on change management and organisational design.
  • Lead and develop our calendar of internal cultural and team building activities and events, and other ad hoc events which support our cultural and business objectives.
  • Identify, develop and help drive the delivery of training needs that are organisational wide or tailored to specific team requirements.

Background/Experience:

  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum eight to ten years’ experience in HR roles, including 3yrs+ in senior management level HR role.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment, and have managed change programs.
  • Experience in developing organizational culture is preferable.

This full time role reports to the Managing Director, and is based in Byron Bay with regular travel to our Northern Rivers brewery in Murwillumbah.
