JOB DESCRIPTION: PACKAGING TECHNICIAN

After humble beginnings in 2008, our range of beers, led by our flagship original Pacific Ale, have gained the attention of drinkers from one end of the country to the other.
In a nutshell, this role is responsible for maintaining the quality of our beer from tank to pack. It would suit someone that is happy to work as part of a shift team, who can operate packaging equipment and meet production targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Show exceptional OH&S practices
- Manage plant hygiene and orderly workspace
- Effectively run packing equipment following company SOP’s
- Fulfill packing production targets for both packaged and kegged stock
- Organisation of batch information and recording production results
We’re on the hunt for someone who:
- Has packaging experience within a manufacturing team in the FMCG industry
- Has proven experience working within a team
- Can show a disciplined focus on safety and quality improvements
- Preferably has a qualification in brewing or packaging related study (e.g. General Certificate in Brewing / Packaging)
- Preferably has a qualification or trade in mechanical, science, or engineering related field
- Understands and fits the Stone & Wood culture
- Thrives in a dynamic environment
This is a full time shift based role, covering seven days a week based at our brewery in Murwillumbah.
