WA beer lovers – how'd you fancy becoming the face of Stone & Wood? The Byron Bay based brewery has created a new role for someone to help build their brand via events, tastings, festivals and more.

JOB DESCRIPTION: BRAND AMBASSADOR (WA)

Born and raised in Byron Bay, brewed and bottled in the Northern Rivers, Stone & Wood takes a fresh approach to brewing beer that's simply good to drink. We are ingrained in our communities, support the people who support us, and stay true to our role as an independent national brewer.

The West Coast has long had an appreciation for good beer and we want to continue being a part of the growth in the region.

We have created a role for someone who shares our values, loves our beer, and can really build  understands what makes us tick and wants to be part of a growing team with a culture that prides itself on taking it slow, and keeping it simple. 

You don't have to be a beer geek, but you do need to be into beer and have a sound knowledge of the ever-changing industry landscape.

We’re on the hunt for someone who works well alone, who is self driven and confident and can make this role their own. This role is very autonomous with a high expectation of knowing the industry both on and off premise and delivering against brand awareness and brand visibility objectives.

The role will require:

  • Showcasing our brand amongst the ever-growing beer community
  • Territory planning skills
  • On/Off-premise tastings (often includes introducing a drinker to Stone & Wood and sharing our story) 
  • Coordinating brand activations
  • Sound business management skills
  • Drive involvement in events and festivals
  • Support beer and quality education in the trade
  • Importantly, supporting our Customers and Drinkers
  • A history of thinking outside the box

This role requires previous experience in sales and marketing within the beverage industry, a history of business to business account management, along with having a full driver's license, a current WA RSA and have full rights to work in Australia.

This is a full time role based in Perth and also servicing surrounding areas. You will be provided with a car, laptop, a beer allowance and other company benefits to support you in this role. But just know, it’s not your average 9 to 5 type gig.
