Over the years, Mornington Peninsula Brewery has built a solid reputation for both its core beers and specialty releases. To help get those beers into even more hands, the brewery is looking for a sales manager to join the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES MANAGER
Mornington Peninsula Brewery is recognised as one of Australia’s top independent breweries that continues to push boundaries with their specialty beers and underpinned by a strong core range.
We are after an energetic and experienced Sales Manager to join our senior management team and help develop and deliver on key strategies.
Located in Mornington this role will lead the sales team in identifying and acquiring new business development opportunities as well maintaining existing relationships.
The successful candidate must have proven experience in sales management and dealing with major wholesalers. Knowledge and background within the beer industry is desirable.
Main Duties:
- Developing and Implementing the Sales, Sales Promotion & Marketing Strategy
- Achieving Financial Targets
- Coaching, development and leadership of sales team
- Key Account Management
- Reporting and Forecasting
The successful applicant must have:
- Sales experience within the beer industry or FMCG – including direct and wholesaler channels
- Understanding cost of goods and gross margin
- Achieved significant sales growth
- Proven background with Key Accounts and Major Wholesalers
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a sales team
- Hold a current Victorian drivers licence
