Thebarton's Good Beer Wheaty, the long-running spin-off from Good Beer Week, is back for its seventh incarnation in 2018.
For those who have never been, the mini festival is The Wheaty's celebration of the best of the beer world, both locally and elsewhere.
Across four days, there's a whole heap of events at which fans of craft beer can whet their appetite – and then some.
The lineup in 2018 features the usual gathering of international legends and looks rather a lot like this:
- May 10: Cwtch! Ticketed Tasting & Meet the Gazz
A meet the brewer session with Wales' Tiny Rebel from 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Followed by a Tiny Rebel Tap Takeover - May 11: Tap takeover and meet the brewer session with Buxton (UK) and Three Weavers (USA)
- May 12: A ticketed tasting with Buxton and Three Weavers from 3pm to 5pm
Followed later in the night to "Dangerously Close to Mr" – a To Øl tap showcase featuring a font full of the Mr and Dangerously Close To Series beers - May 13: Super Stout Sunday – a competitive blind tasting with (The Crafty Pint's own) Matt King from 12pm to 2pm
Then, from 4pm and beyond, it's roast meets roasty with The Wheaty's Sunday roast there to enjoy with all those stouts.
