Long dark nights, tall dark beers – talk about a winning combination. And there'll be nowhere better to enjoy it than at Staves Brewery for the 2022 edition of their Winter Solstice Dark Beer Fest.
Staves Winter Solstice VI will treat you to eight dark beers brewed on-site, from past favourites to brand new releases. Whether it's a classic stout, a black IPA, or something unexpected that whets your appetite for the dark stuff, you're bound to find something that hits the spot. This year is a little different in that they'll be running sessions (midday to 5pm & 7pm to midnight) rather than the traditional first-in, first served method, plus they'll have a bonus Sunday session. Either way, things are bound to get busy so you're advised to get in promptly to get a good spot.
All tickets will include a five dark beer paddle, picked by the Staves team, to get you on your way. You can also expect live tunes and burgers from the Chuck Burgers food truck.
