Given their connections to the Great White North, Bad Shepherd have always made a big deal out of Canada Day, and this year will be no different.
Join them on July 1 as they start early and go all day long with Canadian-inspired beer, food, and tunes...
CANADIAN BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH
Things kick off at 11am with a two-hour bottomless beer brunch which features a warm-up glass of their new Canadian Maple Red Ale upon arrival, followed by two hours of leisurely sipping on Vic Pale, Lager, Mid-strength Pale – or mimosas if you prefer.
They'll have complimentary Tim Bits and Nanaimo on the table, and you'll get to pick from this Canadian-themed brunch menu:
- Montreal Smoked Meat Benedict: Open bagel with Montreal smoked meat, poached eggs, hollandaise and chives
- Breakfast Poutine: Golden fries with cheese curds, house made gravy, maple bacon, and fried egg
- Donut Sandwich: Glazed donut filled with cream cheese, maple bacon, and blueberry compote (there's also a vegan alternative if you prefer)
Tickets to brunch can be booked here. There's also a special kids option – more details via the ticket link.
POUTINE PARTY
At 6pm, the famous annual Poutine Party kicks off with a free mini-poutine for everyone that wants one between 6pm and 8pm.
Then it's onto the bar for the new Canadian Maple Red Ale, Caesar cocktails, Canadian Club & Dry and Hot Apple Pie cocktails.
For sustenance they'll be serving up a special food menu with four types of poutine, buffalo wings, Montreal smoked meats, all-dressed Montreal hotdog, Tim Bits and Nanaimo Bars.
Entry to the party is free, but table bookings are recommended – you can make one here.
