Observe the arrival of The Matriarch with CoConspirators as they launch the latest version (well, versions...) of an old favourite over a three-day celebration of women in the beer world.
Matriarch Day (well, days...) will take place from August 4 to 6, with the new beers getting their first pour, smoking' hot food from a brewery favourite, live local music, and a homebrew competition with a difference.
Starting with the latter, they've teamed up with Grape & Grain to produce fresh wort and all-grain kits which you can use to create your own version of The Matriarch and enter it into a competition to try and win beery prizes. All the details will be revealed closer to the time of the competition, but in the meantime you can get cracking on the beer here.
Back to the action at the brewpub, on August 5 and 6 Smokestack BBQ will be bringing the fire and serving up their smoked specialties to pair with the house beers. There'll be live music throughout the day from local artists, then a DJ to finish things off later in the evening.
And of course, all weekend you'll be able to enjoy the new Matriarchs, special releases created by the women of CoConspirators in an effort to celebrate all the women doing such fine work across the beer industry.
