While dark beer can be awesome any time of year, drinking it at this time of year it feels especially awesome.
The folk at Southern Highlands Brewing reckon that's something to celebrate, so they'll be doing just that on July 29 when they and a host of fellow small brewers take over the Sutton Forest Inn for a dark beer festival.
The feast of dark delights will feature food and beer pairing, live music, giveaways and plenty of delicious dark beer from these Aussie breweries:

Doors open at the leisurely time of 11am and the fun will last all day.
Entry is free, but table bookings are both prudent and encouraged.
