Ja! Ja! Ja! Oktoberfest is coming to Bendigo!
On October 14 the city's beautiful Trades Hall will, for the first time, be transformed into a little pocket of Bavarian delights, featuring locally-inspired takes on traditional beer, food, music and all the necessary ingredients for a stein-clunkingly good time.
Local brewers – Cornella Brewery, the Brewers Collective, and more to be divulged during the slow-reveal pre-festival period – have been busy brewing special festival beers and these will be available to enjoy from your very own half litre ceramic stein; your ticket gets you four fills of the festbiers, which should be plenty to keep you sated.
The music will be live, the lederhosen will be out, and Bendigo’s own German restaurant, Tageskarte, will be putting on the traditional trappings, with sausages, pretzels, and other vego options.
