That's very much the vibe at Molly Rose as they open the doors and let their love for beer and food shine through at their unique new Smile, Enjoy! festival. It's an event unlike any seen before in the Aussie beer world, centred on celebrating the joys of pairing great beer with great food.
Running hot on the heels of The Matchmakers concept, on November 12 the Collingwood brewery's beer garden will see six hand-picked local brewers – Range, Black Arts, Bruny Island, Loophole, Noodledoof, plus the hosts – paired with six top local food producers.
There will be two sessions, running from 11am to 3pm then 3pm to 8pm. Each ticket gets attendees two beer tastings from each brewery plus food specially designed to match their beers; all up that means 12 beers and six food pairings.
Throughout the session you'll be sipping from suitably fancy Plumm glasses, and you'll have the option to buy these for $15 at the end of the festival.
