If you've ever wondered what the next big thing in beer might be, here's an event where you might just find it – or perhaps become it.
The annual Brewer’s Got Talent brewing competition returns to Frenchies in 2024, with loads of up-and-coming local brewers showcasing their best recipes in the hope of taking home some silverware and perhaps using it as platform to open the door to the big time.
The competition is also a fun and delicious day out, where all competing homebrewers put their high-quality but normally-hidden beers on show for the general public to try. Alongside the judges, you get to vote for your favourite and have a say in who might take this year's title.
For the 2024 event, Frenchies are adding a new lunch experience, which starts at midday and sets you up with a customarily spectacular meal, a brewery tour, a chance to meet the competing brewers, and a taste of all the entries.
If you'd rather just get stuck into trying the beers, the public tasting kicks off at 3pm and runs for three hours. The big reveal will follow immediately afterwards, with the winner showered in glory and gaining bragging rights forever more.

If you're a homebrewer with a killer recipe you'd like to enter into the competition, your participation is wholly welcomed! Just make sure you're registered no later than January 19, 2024.
