Brick Lane are set to welcome visitors to a beer venue with a difference as they open the doors to their restaurant inside the Queen Vic Market precinct on Wednesday, November 29.
It's a special moment for the indie brewery who poured their very first beer inside the iconic market and have called it home for some time; first via their laidback bar in String Bean Alley which was joined by the downstairs bar at the former Mercat Hotel that opened earlier this year.
The new space upstairs in the old pub has been completely reborn and features 36 beer taps, a 120-seat dining room, a 150-seat terrace, an open kitchen and a raw bar where fresh oysters can be enjoyed alongside one of Brick Lane's many beers. That commitment to market-fresh food extends across Brick Lane's menu, with the chefs constantly sourcing ingredients from Queen Vic's many stallholders.
Brick Lane Market is located at 456 Queen Street, Melbourne and its opening coincides with the second Summer Night Market.
