Sigh. Another month, another blockbuster beer launch for the crew at Hopheads, this time a collaboration between NSW brewery Mountain Culture and California's much-vaunted Firestone Walker.
The two recently teamed up on Bubblin Billies', an NEIPA that was originally brewed at Firestone Walker in the US, but specifically for the Billies Craft Beer Festival in Belgium. The beer was apparently never meant to end up all the way Down Under, but a stream of positive feedback in the northern hemisphere was enough to make the parties reconsider.
Fast forward a month and the one-off beer has now been brewed on two continents and enjoyed on three, and Melburnians get their first chance to try it on December 8 at Hopheads Yarraville where it features as part of a Mountain Culture tap takeover.
Things kick off nice and early, with the feature keg being ready to pour when doors open at 1pm.
