Eagle Bay Hoops Project at Besk

Eagle Bay Hoops Project at Besk

Enjoy an eclectic mix of mixed-ferment beers as Eagle Bay rolls out a range of rare barrel-aged beauties.

It's happening in the Besk basement cellar on March 2, with Eagle Bay brewer Keegan Steinbacher in the house to share goodies from the brewery's barrel ageing offshoot, The Hoops Project. This will include five different beers that have been blended and bastardised in a myriad of ways, and aged for up to four years.

This'll be the first chance to try many of these beers, including the latest release, the Fig and Yuzu Brett Saison. The full list of Hoops beers – and a wine, for good measure – is as follows:

  • Fig and Yuzu (Blend 005)
  • Cabernet Skins (Blend 002)
  • Wild Eagles (Blend 003)
  • Brett Saison (Blend 001)
  • Rogue Juice (Wine 001)

They'll also be pouring a range of Eagle Bay's other offerings, with ten taps in total showcasing what the brewers have been up to.

Tickets cost $70 which includes a welcome beer, four Hoops beers, a glass of wine, and a grazing board.

The fun starts at 3pm and you can book your spot here
