No more hiding. No more hibernating. It's time, Sydneysiders, to get out and let live music course through your body and warm your winter ills as Freshwater Brewing becomes the home of Freshie Palooza, a four day feast of food, booze, arts, activities and entertainment for all ages.
Taking place from July 25-28 as part of the Northern Beaches Creative Open project, the brewery will be humming with free live gigs featuring top local talents across genres; from the rap of Gold Fang to the neo-RnB of Ruby Jackson, indie-trio Loretta, urban roots from The Stridesm and more, there'll be something to get you moving.
Alongside the music there'll be all manner of creative pursuits to enjoy, from workshops such as tote-bag printing through to woodworking. They'll also have a winter night market featuring heaps of local producers hawking wares from surfware to ceramics to skincare.
And all the while the Freshie kitchen has teamed up with fellow locals and fine diner Pilu, to serve up a selection of menu items exclusive to the festival. And of course, the bar will be pouring cocktails, beers, natural wines and non-alcoholic beverages, with exclusive Palooza-themed specials on both the food and drink menus.
Got kids? Freshie Palooza is for them too, with a special Sunday circus session from 11:30am until 2:30pm.
